What was the restaurant back in the 1980's downtown that had their wait staff periodically break into show/opera tunes?

I have personally experienced one of Cory's impromptu arias at Cafe 28 and all I can say is that I highly recommend both!

... the place chiro1986 is asking about was called, "Gustino's" (or something like that). It was at the Mariott hotel... As for this fellow, if he can pull of a good "Nessun Dorma", I am there! ;o)

I have hired restaurant performers and it's a tough balance to achieve - the performer's ego usually demands that they command all the attention, while diners are more interested in food, wine, conversation and performance as BACKGROUND ambiance. I, for one, don't want someone interrupting my expensive meal while the food gets cold.

but Cafe 28 is a GREAT local restaurant. And I remember going there and it was "My husband has been developing this new beer called Surly... want to try it?" What a great spot!
