Does anyone know if Cedar Point (owner of VF) did something this year? Usually Valleyfair does what Cedar Point did the year before on a bit of a smaller scale.
They are the only parks I go to!! When Valleyfair becomes one of those, I'll be interested and take kids
they're adding metal detectors and bullet proof glass along with bomb bunkers? Will they also have police on duty every five feet? A dad was beaten there and a teen was gang raped inside the park. I'm sure there's more.
Cedar Point opened Shoot the Rapids this year, a new water logging ride. I'll bet VF is getting rid of the existing log ride and replacing it with something better.
Cedar fair sold Valleyfair years ago!!
Yes, Cedar Point still owns VF. And the log ride was removed two years ago and replaced with a wave pool. I hope it's a suspended coaster like Raptor!!
Scrap all the slow non height rollercoasters!! Visit Cedar Point and Los Angeles Six flags and build coasters mimmicing those like stand up coaster, a ride like X, vertical coaster, 2 wooden coasters cause those they have now are pathetic, new water rides like nokomis says. Do those things and maybe I'll visitwith kids. Otherwise, Sandusky and Six flags Los angeles and chicago sometimes get the thrills!!
You can't use season pass of cedar point at valley fair anymorewhich is another reason I don't even look valleyfair way!! Cedar fair sold that park, mall of america camp snoopy, and Kansas city park!!!
Urban Gunfight Drive-by And Beating Experience...is that ride still operating?
Cedar Fair DOES own VF (though they tried to sell it a couple years back) - and they said 'expansion' ... not a new ride. I believe 'expansion' means that they're looking to 'expand' the grounds - does that make any sense? I'm curious if they'll build a true water park like they have down in KC at Oceans / Worlds of Fun? Hmm...I'm curious about an expansion...it's kind of crazy to think about given that they don't really have a ton of land left to build on unless they move the parking lot(?). Speaking to the log ride - it's gone, replaced by a wave pool. I do agree, they could use new coaster (replace the corkscrew, that things poo!). But yeah, think bigger here people, they said 'expansion'!
