i think they can refund the money paid so far by Hennepin County and also cancelign the sales tax

Will the increased business downtown make up for the outlay in increased taxes? If in the long term we see 350 million in increased business downtown, but the stadium cost the taxpayers 500 million, guess what? IT'S A NET LOSS FOR THE TAXPAYERS!! And that's assuming that the "profits" are money people wouldn't have spent on other entertainment options if the stadium wasn't there. "Gather round kids, since there's no open air baseball stadium, we're gonna spend the evening flushing this $200 in cash down the toilet!"
