. . . this street was truly a private street, that no city could let a city-owned street get that catastrophically bad. When I saw it was really a city street I assumed it was being let to rot because the city was scheduling some major redevelopment project in for the properties. Guess the city either just forgot this street was in its borders, or it didn't care. It really is a sight to behold, but don't drive it in a standard car. A high-suspension SUV or pickup is called for, else you risk vehicle damage.

Between 35W and Lyndale is a cow path. When will it be fixed? Well maybe after the $50,000 drinking fountains or the $10,000,000 bike trail? Sorry for asking about someting that actually affects working class folks!

I just read that the city is spending nine million on a bike path. Now I know why. The streets are unsafe for them. Minneapolis is the biggest pile of crap city there is. Liberals have destroyed that city. 99 percent of people use cars but they are treated like the minority.

33rd is where I ripped off a Landing Gear leg on a semi trailer, Cost me 600 dollars to fix it. I won't even go down it for fear of my equipment will be useless afterward. The city of Minneapolis has failed everyone who lives there. From the rampant crime to City streets. This is a example of what liberalism does to the people who really pay the taxes, The business owners ! The city shoud take 30 million and buy up all the foreclosed houses in the highest crime areas and bulldoze them to the ground. Then take another 30 Million and repair the streets that are the worst off. After that they need put 30 million in the police and run a crackdown on all the gangbangers again and ship them to prison or make thier life so miserable they go back to chicago or wherever they came from. Minneapolis ..... City of Thieves of Properity ( Liberals )

If the street has NEVER been paved then for god sakes, there are just as many conservatives to blame over the last 130 years... remember We ELECT the people who vote for bike trails etc.... and apparently there are enough people who use them and the other amenities that Minneapolis a better city than Gary to make these projects wothwhile...maybe all you Beckhead whiners should just grow up and realize not everyone shares your "I'm the center of the world" pettiness.

when is your dept. going to fix the potholes in my neighborhood?? it is already july you marked them. and that is as far as it has gone.and that was 3 weeks ago. you do a crappy job with snow removal. so i expect not much will be done about the potholes. but you keep bragging about saving the city money. and now i know how. face it the streets are falling apart under you leadership. and you should be fired.
