For players, Target Field could use some adjustments

With the clear exception of Denard Span, some players have suggestions to make Target Field more hitter friendly, starting with reducing the glare that sometimes makes it difficult to see the ball.

Move them back to the Metrodome, where there is no glare.

No fence moving! You wanted an outdoor stadium and you have one! Live with it. I swear if Mauer was at Wrigley Field he would complain about the vines..........

I sat in center field and missed every play in deep right field. Bummer.

"Target Field has been the majors' 28th toughest home run park" Surely this means the 28th EASIEST home run park (or 3rd toughest). The ranking is by ease of hitting a homer.

Several weeks back I suggested that the Target Field OF was a graveyard for long fly balls, and several people bristled with their feedback. Go ahead and bristle, but you may have heard it here first. Been watching baseball for 40 years, and have seen Mauer, Morneau, Cuddyer and Young absolutely crush balls to LCF and CF and the balls have been caught at the fence or warning track. When a player puts that good of a swing on ball and makes that good of contact, he should be rewarded with an extra base hit or home run. An easy solution I'm suggesting: move home plate and everything else out 10 feet. It would give a more reasonable amount of room behind home plate, and room down the lines for an outfielder to make a play/avoid being injured. As is, the existing 3-ft of foul room deep down the lines is dangerous. That would bring the CF fence in from 411 to 401 -- still plenty of challenge to reach in windy CF. Have Seth Stohs or LaVelle write on article on this.

But I like the Walleye idea...big fish tank behind the fence below the batter's eye, and special seats with which you can fish from, and they fry up your catch during the game...brilliant?... BRILLIANT!!

Go ahead, just reach into my wallet again without asking. Like you did to build this place.
