Is this just another Corporate Crony and will the next appointment to the court be the same? Pawlenty has a one-track mind (No Taxes for the rich, No Government, No Health Care, and No Brain). Tnanks again.

Definitely not a libertarian appointment. Too bad.

"The court -- once known as a moderate to liberal body -- has shifted rightward with Pawlenty's appointments over the past seven years."

It's no coincidence that MN, under the leadership of Republicans in government and on the courts, has been declining on most every scale measuring quality of life in our once great state.

It's time for another Minnesota Miracle - unfortunately it won't happen until we get a governor who cares about this state and we can 'unappoint' some of those right wing justices usurping our legal standings with their ideological decisions at the polls.

WOW , Now were stuck for years with 5 of the 7 MN supreme court justices appointed by the King . Note to MN Native American Bands now planning to open the MN fishing season early this Friday on Lake Bemidji RE: 1855 treaty rights. Take your show on the road up to Lake Kabetogama , thats where King Tim will be with lots of TV cameras , instead of taking care of business in St Paul by signing the budget bill once again passed by our elected law makers.

Having read her dissent on the unallotment case, this is not a surprise. In the same way Pawlenty seems intent on dumbing down the state, he is dumbing down the Supreme Court. Her dissent was a piece of political opinion, not legal analysis.
