ok, all you people who whine about the government spending big bucks on a possible Vikings stadium, you better also howl over this. 45 grand could buy a lot of books for kids instead of paying some dude to hang out for a few hours. Total waste of money, taxpayer money no less. 45 grand sure would help out someone who's unemployed, or perhaps give a hard-working teacher or a cop 45 grand. Absurd!

This is how politically motivated slush funds work. No one really cares how it is spent as long as it is spent. After all it's just tax money, there is always more where that came from.
