Bradley Olson's bail, whatever the amount, should have been conditional upon him being barred from drinking, consenting to random drug tests and having no contact with the victim. Olson's criminal alcohol abuse convictions alone are enough justification for the conditions, and the fact that he drove drunk to his ex-girlfriend's house at 4:30am and crashed into her garage, broke into her home and entered her bedroom uninvited should have persuaded the judge to impose a conditional release. Why are the county attorney's office and the judge convinced that Olson isn't another Steven Van Keuren wannabe?
