That will work as a poison pill in case they try to leave the state. Walking away from that revenue would just hurt too much. And if it loses money... too bad. Maybe they can beg to the NFL for the money.

And let the tribal casinos get craps and roulette as compensation.

although i think they should also allow slots at running aces near forest lake. the indian tribes do not deserve to have a monopoly on slot machines in this state. get it done and let's get this vikings stadium built already. it will put thousands of tradesmen back to work for 2 to 3 years straight and give the twin cities a venue to attract the final four, super bowl, etc.

The Vikings are the most popular sports team in the state, their lease is up after 2011 and they don't intend to extend it without a new stadium, we can draw big events such as Super Bowls and Final Fours that will help the economy and we have a plan that will cost the taxpayers nothing to build the facility. While no plan is perfect and is always open to criticism, this one seems like one most people can live with and will work. I hope the legislature doesn't make up some reason not to act and continues to stall what is a realistic and viable plan. Get it done please!

Please don't listen to the Indians. if the $100 million doesn't go to MN and the stadium, then it all goes to the Indians who don't pay taxes on it. The same people will gamble. It's just geography where they do it.

and tell them to quit selling out the interests of all Minnesotans for the campaign money given to them by the Indian Gaming lobby. It is the DFL that has fought against the Racino from day one.
