The pair are a favorite tandem of the right as they galvanize the Republicans and gall the Democrats.

Each side firing back and forth, crafting their message and the attacks. Too bad they are playing with our country.

Too bad they had to ruin a good rally by having Pawlenty on stage.

I am indifferent about Palin (and appreciate Bachmann) but that picture is priceless. In case they change it, the picture up is an auditorium with exactly one person sitting in it.

"Bachmann and Palin will share the stage with Gov. Tim Pawlenty and conservative media star Sean Hannity, who's on hand to sign his new book and do his television show." Talk about the apocalypse!

Bachmann and Palin share one shortcoming that has nothing to do with personality, quirkiness, or intelligence: They don't offer solid ideas and options. They are very good at making people feel crappy about their government, but what are they going to do about it? That is the major flaw on the political right today...what is their answer to the problems that plague us? Even relatively grounded people like Pawlenty offer little more than preachy criticism. Where are the answers?

Sadly, almost 100% of what is offered as a solution is more of what has brought this country down to where it is today. Three decades of conservative political principles -- yes, including Clinton et al -- hasn't done much for us today. Why would we want more of the last three decades?

Ironically, the people complaining are calling for more of what has caused the problems they complain about and politicians like Palin and Bachmann only need to keep people riled up to sustain political clout. That's bad leadership, but it is an even worse example of democracy in action. Don't support these empty frauds, run them out. We deserve better, we need better.

Any suggestion that these two ultra conservative righies would make a good team at the ultimate national stage is ridiculous! Talk about a double political suicide.
