Most abusive guys claim that they can't control their violent ways against women. But would these men hit their wife or girlfriend if she was a cop?

on this! They took away the ability of cops to dress down these situations and now they are going to have to do with slips of paper from judges. I'll check back in a year and see how this is going. Really. The reporter will never do it.

More pieces of paper to push, more non profits who have a new cause and thus funding, more bureaucrats but in the end the women will keep getting hurt. The fools are just perpetuating their jobs.

Abuse of animals is a precursor to abuse of people and threatening pets is a common way abusers maintain control of victims. Animal abuse as a crime has been elevated in seriousness for these reasons. I hope these steps save lives- of people and animals.

advocates said "Previously, such conditions were reviewed just before offenders were released. Advocates said that was poor timing because offenders were so eager to leave jail they couldn't focus on the conditions of release", so we need to spend millions of more dollars that we don't have (Earth to Saint Paul Police we are broke and bankrupt...$109 trillion) and don't have money for your silly projects. Shut up and pay attention and if you didn't and find yourself back in the slammer then you have yourself to blame. The nanny state. How is that hope and change thing working. At least somebody is still employed. The debt clock calculator will have a job for life.
