Fares out of MSP have fallen, but we still pay more than the nation. And fees continue to skyrocket.

when I go on vacation alone and I know that I gotta bring back pic's/trinkets etc.. I pack a second bag inside the first one ( with my clothes inside the second one), and then ship the second bag back ups with the trinkets inside and check the first bag,, just a thought,,these days you have to be creative to get passed the nickel and dimeing

Unfortunately they have figured out that on regular luggage. I too mail stuff back when in the USA but we have done a lot of research trying to save on the flight itself to compensate for the ridiculous fees.

and the convenient parking at the Humphrey terminal that they advertise costs about the same as offsite parking is twice what offsite parking costs. I wish the airlines and airports would come clean and be truthful in their advertising and rates.

No customer service whatsoever, this situation has become a complete joke. I now fly Southwest whenever possible, screw Smelta/Norworst, they have ripped us off for years and are continuing to do so!!!

Are you kidding! fares are down...I travel for business and last year at this time I paid less than 200 dollars for a ticket to LA round trip with a 10 day advanced purchase. I purchased a ticket..once again round trip to LA with 14 days advance and it was over 500 dollars..really fares are down who do you fly Fantasy Airlines to Fantasy Island and who booked this flight for you Mister Rourke and a creepy little guy named Tattoo! Did you even do any research on this or did you decide to just wing it and think no one would read your column anyway? Isnt the Star doing Job cuts..maybe you could get a job as a PR write for Delta and then ask them...How can a broke Airline by another broke airline and become the largest Broke Airline in the World and how come they dont get a clue that by raising the fairs in a economic down turn, less people will Fly and people arent going to travel in this enviroment either...so they stay here and save money and yeah start Porking everybody because its Spring Break or Easter or whatever. Next time actually go online and try and make a Reservation and see what a reality check you get...Fares are down!!! to what??? how much! Have a nice stay on Fantasy Island and watch the Short guy! hahahaha! what a joke have a nice trip!
