167 hits and a .290 batting average aren't too shabby. He's not Rod Carew but that first season here was more productive than any LF I grew up watching in the 70's and 80's. Cut the guy some slack, he's younger than most of our AAA guys.

and my memory is not what it used to be, but I think I remember Gomez hitting for the cycle 2 years ago. We are going to regret letting him go, and I predict he is a future All- Star. A 300 hitter, 20 home-run, gold-glove player.

Good heavens, there I go again, dropped my dentures in the tank over that one. Can't wait to see the new trim, slim, sleek Delmon circling aimlessly under a fly ball in left field under the Minnesota sun. At the Dome it was always an adventure filled with thrills, spills, and snow cones. Now, it will all happen with greater velocity.

He might win a gold glove, if he can hold down a starting roll for a whole year, never will he be an all star hit 300 or 20 homers.

He's taken control of himself. Talent only goes so far at the pointy end of the game, good to know that he's putting in focused work with a learning attitude.

I feel sorry for Delmon. He's probably grown up a little and taken care of himself physically over the off-season. Now his major problem is the SOUHAN CURSE!!! Any time Souhan writes something, you know the reality is just the opposite.
