Who gets to write on Target Center wall?

Timberwolves and Target Center management each claims the right to control ads on the wall facing Target Field.

The City of Mpls. did not build Target Center, so why did they end up owning it???? Why cannot they manage it?? They let some management company get to profit from management???

That is how stupid those politicians were back in the '80s with the Metrodome, which was built with no air conditioning!

i think you carry your passion a little far healthcrusader. one comment should suffice without shoving continual afterthoughts down our throats. with that said if target runs the place and minneapolis/hennepin county own it then the team should be the last people with a say. essentially they rent the court they play on not the entire facility.

While the Timberwolves and management company are bickering about the new advertising gold mine, why doesn't mayor Rybak and city council members stand up and claim the advertising space a public good? It is after all a public building, financed by taxpayer dollars - lots of taxpayer dollars. In fact, it would be a good financial strategy to sell advertising on selected public buildings / spaces generally to generate income for city operations.
