Paul Douglas? Mr. Global Warming? When the Star Tribune needs to concentrate on more factual journalism in order to survive, you bring back the weather guy from TPT? Granted, Paul's a self-made millionaire, which the left disdains, but good grief, he's not a reliable source in my opinion.

get over it. Global warming? That is something that only conservative boys that have fallen far behind the rest of the world would still be beating like their dog.

Thank you for helping to restore my faith in human intelligence! Just when I resign myself to despairing that everyone in management is a complete, clueless idiot, someone at the Strib had the brains to realize that letting Paul go was a foolish mistake. Better yet, somone had the humility and integrity to admit the mistake and correct it. Paul Douglas is a thoroughly personable, competent, witty, memorable, and enjoyable witer. Thank you, thank you!

ever since he kicked the dust of this little town off his shoes and went "east" (Chicago) to the big-time (flopped immediately and miserably) he's back and back and back . . . that Douglas Paul Kruhoffer is like a bad penny; the Windy City recognizes some things we don't.

Funny, but my comment giving actual facts against global warming was removed. And no I didn't get my facts from the U of East Anglia. Some people must find the truth offensive. Instead of rehashing my earlier arguements that showing global warming is utter nonsense I'll just ask one question... Ask yourself why, when Paul Douglas, a respected local meteoroligist, says global warming is a problem, the media gives him airtime. When another respected local meteoroligist Dave Dahl, debunks global warming we never hear about it?

Never got the new approach and hated when WCCO let him go. A knowledgeable class act.

I have 2 weather applications on my cell phone and all four tv stations tell us much about weather. Would it have been better to hire reporter to deliver bbt ccomprehensive coverage of Mpls city council? I don't feel well informed about our city government.

Hooray. I'm so happy to read Paul Douglas' pithy writing every day. He understand MN and always makes the weather fun. The WCCO guys were okay, but (yawn). Welcome, Paul. May you have years and years of successful forecasting on the Star Tribune.

for daring to write that the Earth revolved around the sun. Global warming is happening folks. Last decade hottest on record. Get used to changing the way you live. Goodbye to consumerism. Hello to reality.
