Osseo superintendent says she's retiring at end of year

At the helm since 2006 and during a time of cuts and closings, Susan Hintz says the district is in a good position to move forward.

and please don't let the door hit you on the way out. School Board - another Hintz is NOT what the people want. School closings that were ill considered and inappropriate. Over-reaching on the referendums. Seeking money for technology without a long-term technology plan. A "strategic plan" that was neither and has more buzzwords and platitudes than an Obamapromter speech. Do us all a favor and step aside in favor of people who represent the people.

I couldn't agree more with what striberal said. And I grew tired of Hintz's referendums when it was clear the people didn't want them.

I live in the district and we gave her a choice!! Either retire or we were going to fire you. Susan your absolutely worthless!!

Susan claims she is leaving the district in good fiscal shape. What she fails to mention is the schools she closed were in growing communities. It is a disgrace that someone can come here from out-of-state, turn the district upside down, and reduce the quality of our childrens' education. You should be ashamed of yourself Susan. Good riddance!
