Story states Eagan was established in 1860. The Civil War started in April, 1861 Isn't that "a year before the Civil War began?" (BTW, you should place a comma between April and 1861, I mean if you're picking...).

Stillwater being on the River was founder way before Eagan. That is the Burb for yeah full of bragging because it was once Farm Land. so what. it does no longer prove Farm Land. so, History was destroyed by deleting the farms.
