Civic-minded Minnesotans can help state keep House seat.
I'm sure the state will get two additional congressional seats. If you don't believe me, just ask Al Franken.
The entire story was without any reference to illegal immigration. amazing
This is a very serious issue for Minnesota and to use this editorial as another semi-excuse for bashing Acorn and Senator Franken is just wacky.
would be the possible elimination of Michelle Bachmann from the House. If the 6th district got carved into slivers and the right wingers who currently dominate the district were diluted it would be the best news yet for MN. I can only hope.
Bachmann's Census Paranoia ...
Census: Bachmann 'Pants on Fire' ...
Why try to stop something that is ultimately going to happen? As more baby boomers retire, they will move Southeast or Southwest to more tax friendly states and claim their residence there. In turn, those states will add more congressional seats that will be held by tax conservative candidates. MN is nothing more than an over taxed, fly over frozen tundra. It must be brain freeze to all the libs.
I was given the long form of the Census. (the form Congresswoman Bachman is complaining about NOT the counting of people) There are a great deal of questions on it that I do not believe are the Federal Governments business.
The Constition requires counting of people not how far you commute for work, number of bathrooms in your home, etc, etc, etc.
The democrats running the manipulation of the census and the following gerrymandering of the district boundaries should be able to eliminate Rep. Bachmann's seat. If they don't, they are truly incompetent.
don't complain about how long it took you to commute this morning. Because they use that information for urban planning (ie zoning). They don't track your movements just for sh*ts and giggles.
Those who dislike it here are free to leave. Taxes too high? Well, there are lower-tax alternatives you can investigate.
