When you said "worst economic downturn"...you meant to say "longest economic downtown". Of the 10 deepest recessions in modern times, it is closer to the middle for severity, but it is the unquestionably greatest because of length.

That he likes the white stripes and the NFL. Too bad the article doesn't talk about the fiat currency issued by his establishment that is being used to inflate and destroy our economy, and eventually will lead to the worst meltdown in the history of civilized society. The founding fathers would roll in their grave if they could see what we've allowed the federal reserve to do for almost 100 years. It's total theft - in broad daylight. Read up folks. END THE FED.

They should. Part of the FED game is to name their activites with boring and arcane terms. "liquidity injection" just glazes the voters eyes over. How about the federal government minting a couple of hundred pallets of bills and handing it out to our kickback buds at the FED. Part of their mission statement is to stabilize the value of our currency (control inflation) What the FED actually does is CREATE inflation. There is nothing federal about the Federal Reserve ! They have vehemently opposed an audit. It's high time to shut them down.
