Does your religon also tell you to "judge not, least you be judged"? Seems to me that your bad attitude towords this "friend"'s decision stems directly from your judgement of her situation. Be happy for her...she apparently is. And, just to satisfy my faith, I will try my hardest not to judge you for the religious beliefs you have, that my faith doesn't agree with.
I also noticed the mention of her religion not approving of this situation. Goodness gracious! A baby, whether welcomed or not, is a blessing from God!
A little compassion would be a nice change from judgement...I was that person who was single and pregnant in my late 20s. It was not on purpose, but it happened anyway. I also didn't make much money at the time. My child is now 8, and is very happy, healthy and well adjusted. I'm doing much better financially and am doing very well in my personal life. Life doesn't always work out even with the best laid plans and luckily I had family and friends who supported me in my decisions even if they didn't agree with how it came about.
