Is there a better way to get these recipes? The way the spacing is, you cant even get a whole recipe on one page. How about linking them all and giving us the ability to click on one?

Why "must" these be made in advance? Should they be chilled and served cool? I agree with prior entry ... the spacing can be figured out in the measurements, but it is confusing.

You could always just spend 75 cents and buy tomorrow's newspaper...

Dear Judges: You asked for a christmas cookie recipe. Bar cookies belong in a different catagory. You asked for any recipe for a christmas cookie one might have. You asked for recipes that had a story was even better! This winner may have pounds of fat in it but in my book this reads as a bar/candy and has no story. It takes nothing to make except the huge amount of ingredients! And who has $$$ in this day and age to spend. When my 21 year old read the ingredients she thought the amount of butter was discusting. No wonder people are obese. Next year the judges need to clarify what you are actually accepting:bar cookie, actual CHRISTMAS cookies, and then candy........this winner is CANDY! If you want lots of FAT for a winner then say so. Additionally all the others were boring. Last years winner, now that's a CHRISTMAS COOKIE. Iam not moved or inspired to bake any of these. I was also disapointed that you are using recipes that are ' easy to make' and the instructions are those of unskilled bakers. This is another detail that was not required. I expect Christmas Cookies to have at the very least some skill needed. That is what makes them special........The use of parchment paper is over kill! Bye now, I have to go bake some REAL Christmas Cookies.

What's with all the negativity?! Sore losers? These are holiday cookies/bars we're talking about. We're not debating public policy. Lighten up. I loved this Taste section; reading the stories and the recipes. I can't wait to try some of them this weekend. Nice job and happy holiday!
