This is how liberals are going to make healthcare "more affordable"... By making it more expensive. Add this to the 40% tax on most people's healthplan deemed "to good" by the God's in Washington. It's mind-boggeling anybody with warm brain-cells could support this power-grab disguised as "healthcare reform". Everything the pols touch, they destroy.

For all their protestations as to how the $40 billion medical device tax will hurt Minnesota's medical technology companies, I believe that both Senators Klobuchar and Franken voted for it in the original draft of the Senate Finance Committee bill.

We've go to watch how all our Congresspersons vote on "Health Insurance Reform". Every "yes" vote for any of the bills in Congress should be a "yes" vote for the other candidate in the next election. If anybody votes for these monstrosities, throw them out. The next crop can take up the cause and reform health care properly.

Like we don't know who will end up paying this tax. Just like any other business, they will just pass it on. So how is this "reform" going to save us money?

So 20% margins isn't enough for Medtronic and St. Jude? OMG let's protect them to 'save' our healthcare costs?! They've been sheltered too long...

You can count on one thing, not one CEO for these corporations will be cutting their pay if this is passed.

envy is so unflattering. Stop it with the "they're all bad" mentality. If you only know how ridiculous you all sound.

Spoken like a true paranoia. Keep that thought in mind the next time you get on a public highway. The next time you call a cop or fireman. The next time you buy any food at a grocery store. Must be tough to live in fear all of your life.
