"The Lost Symbol" aside, Freemasons are really just regular guys trying to do the right thing. The drama is in the decor.

Believing today that this sect comes from the builders of the Salomon temple is untenable. Modern Archeology and Critical Biblical Students show The first Temple was not buid by DavidÂ´s son. Try reading "David and Salomon" by Filkenstein and Silberman. But as the second coment shows this is by no means the most dangerous myth about them.

If you are interested in Freemasonry, go to the Minnesota Grand Lodge website. Find the Lodge nearest to where you reside and contact them !! Seeing some of these comments, I realize that many are totally misinformed about our Craft. Some Lodges are about being very basic, learning all of the work and happy to just do good for humanity !!! So look and ask questions. Any good MN Mason would be happy to enlighten you.
