It is good of Mr. Toner to donate his time and expertise to Pawlenty's cause. Perhaps, in this spirit, Governor Pawlenty might donate some of his time and expertise to actually do his day job.

Pawlenty opens his mouth - it is a mis-step.

Let me sum up all the comments against Pawlenty...Bridge your fault. You don't do our job. Don't ever open your mouth. I just love how a high percentage of people bash him over and over and over again about the same things. It really seems like you people are actually scared that he could have a chance against the mesiah or choosen one. I know I know. Why would you actually want someone in office that tries to balance a budget, tries to do what is right, speaks from the heart and tries to get thigs done. I know, everything is his fault and the Congress and House in Minnesota which is in the Democratic Majority gets a pass once again on what is wrong with the state.

Actually, most do. The irony is you seem to be speaking about T-Paw and none of those attributes apply.

The Legislature brought him a budget that was balanced with a mix of program cuts and tax increases, and he said "no." So he didn't "try" to balance anything at all.

And please explain how just saying "no" amounts to trying to get things done?

As for speaking from the heart, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it? Ask those -- often the least of those in our society in terms of their capacity to cope -- who are dependent on General Assistance to get by and are being kicked off due to Pawlenty's unallotments, how they feel about his "heart?"
