What has Michele Bachmann done for the Sixth District? Can anyone give one example of something she has done as a Congresswoman to help her district? Jim Oberstar has done more as chair of transportation...with Bachmann likely pouting, if not kicking and screaming, in the corner.

Ron Paul clearly has more intelligence and respect for facts than Bachmann ever has or ever could have, but the guy is too entrenched in the increasingly right wing values of the conservative party. He is a generation or two too late. We've evolved a bit since his ideas might have held some merit. His concerns about the Federal Reserve and its ties to psuedo govermenntal agencies makes sense, but his solution to back peddle and go back to 19th the 19th century do not. Regardless of his flaws...poor guy...on stage with Bachmann.

Ok...has found an example of something Bachmann has done for her district? That's kinda what she's been elected to do you know...

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy...

That must be why Minnesota receives 71 cents from the federal gov't for every dollar that is given in taxes. In comparison to the Southern Red states, Minnesota doesn't even come close to get back the amount of money we pay into the federal government. Ron Paul should go to the Southern Red states and tell them to stop taking all the federal government money and then we could lower the deficit.

Crowd, I was there. I'd say 4,000 would be more accurate.
