United Healthcare does not deserve a seat at the table! They bought up HMOs around the country to become an oligarchy!

I wonder if the house and senate took private votes how many of them would vote like Peterson.

Maybe he just has the guts to vote what he thinks is right.

I wish more people on both sides of the isle were like him.

I love it when the media ALWAYS refers to the Blue Dog Democrats like Peterson as 'fiscal conservatives. That's the way these guys like to sell themselves, but look at the record. Peterson voted for the Iraq War-cost so far $3 million dollars-not paid for. He voted for the Republican prescription drug bill. A huge hanout to the drug and health insurance industry-cost over $1 trillion over 10 years-not paif for. He voted for the Bush tax cuts for the rich-cost $2.5 trillion over 10 years-not paid for. In what way are Peterson and the Blue Dogs 'fiscal conservatives'?

Every blog I find you on, you're right there painting the 'ol "we can throw MORE Grannys out into -20 below snow ..and make even MORE money (followed by evil laughter)" picture of United Healthcare. True business people KNOW that business never operates like that.

support "public option" flood insurance and all those mandates for crop insurance? And anyone who voted for Iraq ain't no fiscal conservative. The vast majority of his constituents can't afford COBRA, so who is he representing? His opponent gets my support - this guy is out of touch.
