Health bill adds a tax for device makers

The clause in one proposal would generate about $4 billion a year from medical device makers - about 3 percent of annual sales.

How much you want to bet that both Franken and Klobuchar would still vote for this bill if the tax against medical device manufacturers is still in there. As long as Reid and Pelosi tell them to vote for it, they will.

Husein just lowered the quality of health care for the world, and for generation to come. But this way a few lazy americans can keep their premium cable and i-phone instead of manning up and paying for what they spend.

Why don't they just tax everything at 100% and get it over with? Government is like a drug addict - if they can get just a little more each time, they'll be good.

This tax, like all business or corporate taxes, will just be passed on to the consumer.

Most of the medical companies in this town pay their CEO's multiple million dollar salaries and they can easily afford it.

It's amazing how the democrats seem to fail to realize is that when you tax the corporation, the corporation passes the taxes onto the consumer by raising prices. So this in the end will make health care costs rise.
