On the national scene, Gov. Tim Pawlenty admits most people don't know him. But he continues to test his message.

Does not work with the democrats at all. Stubborn and only cares about the wealthy. Would rather cut funding for the poor (just look at his massive cuts to health and human services) as opposed to having the very wealthy pay a little more. When in fact the very wealthy got that way by having support of these folks as employees. Pawlenty...just say no!!!!!

Many think that TPAW should throw his hat into the ring for President. Being summarily pummeled in the national polls is the only way he will finally understand that he is so totally out of sync with our nation. It will take being ground into the political dust for TinyTim to realize why so many of the good folk of his home state refer to him as Minnesota's "bad acid trip". It is really sad that he doesn't get it that, if were not for the now forgotten (Peter Hutchinson) 3rd party spoiler in the last Mn Gov's race, TPAW would be out on the street right now.

...we have people stupid enough to think that government health care will kill them so I supppose there are people stupid enough to think Pawlenty is a leader...

He is a man. Some men I like. Some women I like. But, I will never like Pawlenty. He needs to return to another line of work other than politics.

Memorylane...wow...you might really be legit! I thought (I still kind of think -- no offense) that you were a whack job. I mean, who wouldn't think that? Your posts about Coleman were enough to give any sane person reason to think you need a place where you will be safe. But..well, wow...I really thought you were just a person pretending to be a nut. But you really might be a nut! (Based on your love for Coleman.) I'm impressed.

But despite it all you have some common sense about Pawlenty! This is like finding...well...like finding hope! Like finding life on Mars, even if it is only a little spec of a single-celled doohicky. Wow...you might be for real. You have no idea how excited I am. Amazing. All this time. I had no idea. Frankly...I thought you were Norm Coleman!

hmmm.... ??

You are not Norm Coleman, are you?

Yes or now...it is good to see you posting again. Post on the right side (the progressive left side) of topics, however...ok? Embrace facts.

when they aren't big on working with the right? And whoever said TPAW is all about helping the rich is either ignorant or doesn't follow Minnesota Government, or both. Why do we need to apoligize for being American? We don't, as much as you libs would enjoy holding hands and signing songs we can't help everybody. Period. There is always a source to the money and it's usually the dems taking it from the American people and calling it a donation.

"...still isn't sure..."? Pawlenty, if you think anyone with an ounce of common sense believes that lie, you are delusional.

In case you've forgotten, Pawlenty, your FIRST priority is and should be your job as governor and the budget mess you helped create...not traveling the world and the country to "test the political waters". Your dictatorial unallotments and accounting shifts scam only delayed solving the budget mess until after you are conveniently no longer governor. As for your faith, I've no doubt that the Baptist denomination to which you belong just loves your bigoted, homophobic, anti-gay agenda.

I wonder how he will explain away the fact that he never won a gubernatorial election by majority vote.

That's why we have a group of 3 Democratic Senators working with 3 Republican Senators to attempt to reach a compromise on health care reform. Oh wait, that's right Sen. Grassley, one of the Republican negotiators has come out saying that he won't support health care legislation unless it receives significant Republican support. Seems like the Republicans are all too good at not working with the Democrats!!!
