Where is beuford13?
trees down. shingle debris flying around. skyway windows shattered. no report of injuries.
The sirens were 20 minutes late and this building warning employees were the same also. Saw tree branches and trash in the air.
The national weather service issued warnings after this tornado was gone. I saw it go by my window(10 and Marquette) no less than 15 minutes later did the sirens go off and were warnings issues. They either blow the sirens everywhere in the metro for a sever thunderstorm or blow the sirens after the fact. I get that they hard to predict but don't pretend you predicted a tornado 20 minutes after it's gone.
We saw the rotating winds
I saw this tornado fly by my window @ 10th and Marquette and the NWS issued warnings way way after the fact. Sirens went off 15 minutes later maybe 20.
people live there!
Tornado flew by our window about 5-10 minutes before the sirens....Luckily, still at work.....
I'm loving that the early reporting is coming from places like Electric Fetus' twitter page, and people's twitpics. Neat!
