If he doesn't like it, I'll probably love it!

I'm with you, as far as the review. And yet, the commercials make it look pretty much like a Hallmark movie. So he might be right on, there. But I'll see it. :D

Have you read the book? The premise of the story and an outstanding cast should make for at least a decent movie no matter how you see it. I just hate film snobs who have to make perfectly decent movie look like they are the scourge of the Earth simply because of their genre or themes

Have you read the review? How is 2/4 stars "the scourge of the Earth"? 2/4 = decent. Also, he says that he likes the themes, it's the execution that he has a problem with, as well as a lack of chemistry between the leads. Having big names is great, but if they dont play well together(*especially* in a romance), you're better off with lesser-known actors.

Totally agree with you. The last part of my comment was addressed more in general to those critics who are completely out of tune with what the average people enjoys at the movie theater

District 9 rocks compared to this sappy crap of a movie!

@nojustice: Two different types of films. You might think D9 is a great movie, however it isn't probably going to appeal to the TTW audience. @ph4: If you want "average people" to review your films, go to a different site. I don't usually agree with Colin, however he is able to string together a complete sentence.
