This article largely ignores the fact that many people, myself included, are excited about health care reform. It's not going to be perfect for anyone, but it's important to remember that not everyone is angry about this. Otherwise it wouldn't be happening!

Don't believe all that "outrage."

When the legislators develop a plan that will reduce the quality of health care, while increasing the cost of health care....... Did they expect a pat on the back ????

None of these "protesters" say where they're from.

Are using focal points from someone else (both sides) and attending "town hall" meetings for areas they are not from.

We have had enough of their over spending. We can't afford the extreme health care "reform" that they are trying to push on us. Yes there are problems that need to be addressed but they are pushing for an eventual take over of the health care system. If you are over 50 you better pay attention because they will start denying you care because you aren't worth the cost to keep you alive and healthy. If they think things are nasty now they can expect it to get worse if they continue down this path.

This will be a our Social healthcare's financial meltdown and costs run out of control. To control costs they will take 1/3 of the money out of Medicare funds and tell the old folks that they don't need the treatments because they are too old. Take a pill and shut up is the Obama plan.

This propaganda fear campaign funded by the insurance and pharmaceutical lobbies is disgusting. The ignorant or greedy are bussed to these events to prevent a productive dialogue. Anyone that does not realize that insurance company profits stand between you and your doctor has not had any health issues lately. A public option will not put the government between you and your doctor it will get insurance bureaucrats out of the way.

Congress has done whatever they felt like for years. Why should it be any different now? They say that they are doing what is best for us. However, they don't get that we are adults and don't need them telling us what is best for us. They are suppose to carry out the will of their constituents. Is national health care a good thing? I don't really know but I suspect that it is not. There obviously aren't any easy answers in this debate. However, one thing that seems clear to me is that Congress should be carrying out the will OF THE PEOPLE, whether THEY like it or not.
