...well, then perhaps the seventh (7th) company my spouse has worked at since 2005 that is scheduled to leave the state will perhaps stay now? Oh wait, MN wants to up the taxes on companies here to pay for ...? oh whatever they say they need the money for.... That ought to encourage what few companies are left in MN to stay...sure it will. Don't believe it for a minute!

The southwest - including Arizona - is the one region where the economy seems to be in the grip of a continuing contraction. Maybe all great liberal media minds think alike or does the AP story come with a blank that says "insert state name here?" Housing starts up 11% because the government gives you an $8,000 down payment, car sales up because of "cash for clunkers" program. Both end in November. What will be the bright spot then? For the record, Michigan's unemployment rate is currently 17%.

The Fed's optimistic view isn't supported by the words they chose to describe their regions; "signs of stabilization," decline appeared to be "moderating.", and "slow,", "subdued" or "weak."

Last fall's collapse will be nothing with what's ahead. Keep working them printing presses!

...[sigh] yes, quite married. But why would you question something so disheartening? Haven't you been reading the papers where companies have announced they are leaving (and thus, laying off their employees)? Yes, I could list but I won't - won't risk any [hopefully] future employment from those companies left. Believe it or don't; that's your prerogative.

Crashing winds. Liberal media bad. Late night shift. Coffee. The eagle soars. Tiny little starlets from Hollywood out to get us. Take a right at the next stop. Economy better? It cannot be due to our President. Get him. It is cold now. I smell the medicine. Good night.

We already know that blue states are in a deeper hole than red states. Democrats like to create a crisis so people rely on government to bail them out and then you have more democrat voters.
