All it took was a AA pitcher from the Giants to land Sanchez. ONE PLAYER. Bill, what IS it that you are working so hard at?

Sid, Berkhoel played for the University of Denver...Denver University doesn't exist. The school has been in the WCHA for years...you should be able to get this right by now...

Smith does nothing. Twins either finish a close second or win the division. If they make the playoffs, one and done. Smith says, now that we are in the new ballpark... Better find a new catcher Bill, Joe Mauer is a winner and he wants to play with one. After Joe, Morneau leaves.... seats become very, very cheap at Target Field. Let's just admit... this is the new Twins Version of "Billy Ball"

Why does Sid keep insisting that the front office is working so hard, does he really feel that any of us actually believe this? I'm not just saying this because Sid's obviously not a credible source, but because this is something the team just doesn't do. Even the one example that they have, Shannon Stewart, is somewhat false because it wasn't that they were getting a quality guy, they were getting a guy that his team gave up on. This is more luck than anything, the same luck they attempt each offseason, rather than getting a good player, keep picking up retreads with nothing left for less money, guys like Lamb, Everett, Ponson, Hernandez and now Crede. And now that the minor leagues have dried up, where do we go from here? Nowhere but down.
