Do you know the story at all? The 9/11 Commission investigated Rowley's actions and found her, not "FBI honchos," to be the primary reason why the FBI didn't investigate sooner. Rowly's competence makes the Keystone Cops look like Scotland Yard. Give me a break.

Gee, let's look at this one. Who to blame. A FBI agent in a local office? Or head honchos in Washington D.C. who blew it? Hmmm. Tough choice.

we don't have flying cars yet. Because we constantly waste our time arguing about honking horns.

Ummm, we are. Unless the terrorists all turned themselves in. Since I read this story rather than one declaring the end of the war, I assume they haven't.

Is honking against the law? I did not know that.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference. Ms. Rowley, no matter how much you protest, how many people honk thier horns, or how much you slander our police officers you will not end the wars. Move on to something more constructive or just move on out of here.

Ms Rowley's recognition as Time Person of the Year in 2002 (an award shared with two others) is sufficient proof that she's more than paid her dues to speak out. As for the seemingly always angry and sarcastic (and anonymous) "shouters" in political comments, their tactic doesn't work quite as well these days...but old habits die hard.

I would bet that the Burnsville police enthusiastically try to stop this, ticket people, etc... not because it is a traffic hazard, but because they are right wingers who disagree with the stance that the protestors are taking. They are using their own means to try to silence the war protestors. It has nothing to do with "safety" I am sure. Who would be a suburban cop, but one who is basically a Republican and who believes, "My country, right or wrong." They are hiding behind the law to do so.
