I have worked in retail for over 20 years and I have worked at very few stores that would haggle on prices. I don't mind if a customer asks about lowering the price, I kindly explain that I cannot. The thing that is VERY IRRITATING

I have worked in retail for 20+ years and I have experienced haggling customers. I don't mind this but what is REALLY ANNOYING is when a customer won't accept your answer of no. If you try to haggle and are denied: don't be a jerk and get mad, insult the salesperson, etc. It is the policy of most retailers to not haggle and this is not the fault of the salesperson - don't ruin our day by being a jerk!
