Assuming the quarterback is healthy, the Vikings will go all out to get him, while protecting their pocketbook.

With said insentives, it makes sense to add Farve. I would love to see Farve show the other quarterbacks on the team his experience, and teach as in the past, Johnson being one who I can think of who stayed to himself when the QB who ran the offense was on the field. We do NOT need another Johnson who did nothing as the television showed him many times in his own corner on the sidelines. I think Farve will show his colors here in Mn. I do not think he wanted to be in New York in the first place. I could go into that, but their is not need as that is the past. I look forward to a healthy Farve taking Minnesota to the Super Bowl, and winning it! I think he can do it. I would like to add this. I know Fran Tarkenton was great. He however did not have a team that is built as good as this team is. I think the Vikings will go to the superbowl, if Farve is there, he will inspire the rest of the quarterbacks as well and a spark is what this team needs under center, a real player who will give the game their all... GO VIKES!

The Wilfs will go all out, but what's that? The Jets NEW quarterback signed for "around the $50 million mark" with $28 guaranteed. Pretty good considering he's never played a down in the NFL. But it doesn't matter, cuz it's not coming out of our checking accounts (yet).

Oops. That should be $28 MILLION guaranteed. $28.00 is all my boss guarantees ME!

I'd believe ESPN before Sid any day. At this point the Vikings will give a healthy Favre whatever he wants- which despite his typically greedy agent - will probably be reasonable.
