On Crane Lake, hard by the Minnesota-Ontario border, a party of anglers found enough keepers, and plenty more worth admiring.

the color of those Walleye's and without reading the story you just know they are from up north. Black and gold never looked or tasted better.

Can't write without throwing in your politically correct opinion.Nothing against slots but I;m suprised you even will eat a walleye.

The resort owners have joined together and have created a financial incentive system and governing culture that encourages guests to practice catch-and-release of any fish over a certain length. 20 years ago the Walleye fishing on Crane was pretty bad. Props to these people on their achievement.
