Just wondering....How will this be enforced? How much money was allocated for enforcement? Without these two questions answered, the new law isn't worth the paper it is written on.

It is amazing that there is a lot of science around this area that proves that BPA is not harmful. It was banned in western Europe until the science proved that it was not an issue. It is also interesting to note that this "harmful substance" will not be banned in MN for 6 plus months..

When you're old enough (a two year old can drink our of a cup!), drink your milk from a glass. What an experience! To many 2-6 year old's drinking out of sippy cups because of lazy parenting. It's easier to let the child wander all over the house with their sippy cup instead of making them eat/drink at the kitchen table. Milk left unattended in the carpeting stinks really bad.

They want to ban BPA in baby products but when those babies grow older and start sucking down Mountain Dew and other pops in plastic bottles, what then? What about plastic toys that were once made of other materials? We live in a plastic society. The Government should start limiting more products than just baby bottles and sippy cups. The plastics industry has a grip on our world and we let them have it by buying these products, we need to start saying no to plastic.

I know one thing. I sure hate drinking out of plastic soda bottles and Plastic beer bottles. Every thing tastes better in glass. Glass is one hundred percent recyclable.
