City planners from across the country got a chance last week for a behind-the-scenes look at how and where Target plants its bull's-eye.

Target has always done a great job designing the look and feel of its image, whether in its ads, real estate, etc. The trick, of course, is to get in touch with customer expectations and then keep things looking up to date.

Wal-Mart could devour Target any day of the week. They have to have twice the merchandise Target has!

Target has gotten far with its image over substatnce. But like a night club that everyone flocks to is, no longer hot. Walmart on the other hand sticks to basics and will slowly nibble away at Target. Well can't be cool and hip forever.
