The longer we are short one senator the better. Having either one of these idiots in Washington is not a good thing for anyone.

He must have foreseen where this was headed, and thus preferred two T-Paw appointed justices on the canvassing board, in the process removing both from any chance of being able to sit and hear the appeal. A master stroke that helps ensure the court is less ideologically right wing when it considers the appeal.

I guess we've waited this long for fair representation, what's another two months? It's not like the important votes in the Senate will wait until we get our 2nd Senator there.

This headline makes it sound like the Supreme Court is going to decide in June which of the 2 candidates is the Senator. I think the only 2 possibilities are Franken, or some other procedure. How could they possibly decide that Coleman was the victor?

If you think Mark Ritchie could foresee how this mess was going to play out and was brilliant enough to manipulate the Supreme Court, you'd better think about getting him anointed as Supreme Ruler of the Universe. Your conspiracy theory is ridiculous, but in Norm's twisted reality should give him grounds to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court and then if necessary the Pope, Yoda King of the Jedi's, the emperor of Mars and anyone else who cares to hear his pathetic bleating.

Apparently all the lower courts are inept and need to be appealled all the time to a higher court. Why even have the lower courts then?
