But I always read. This article was not worth my time though. C'mon Sid, liven it up a little bit.

Love the articles and insightful tidbits. The haters are always out there but they will miss you one day-I guarantee!

Yea, come on Sid, use some really cool words. Create a scandal or something. Liven it up?

He said "we had no discussions about this". DR's only move this season was the signing of Backstrom which he took way too long to do costing the team more. He hasn't been talking with Gabby's agent so he's now going to free agency. This off season is going to be interesting. Only question is will the owner bring in a new GM? If so will he try bringing in his Nashville buddies? Who long will the owner continue to destroy the state of hockey? Craig probably doesn't know what state of hockey is all about though.

Just please stop reading Sid Hartman's column...or at least keep your hateful comments to yourself. You have no understanding of what Sid Hartman's column is about. Liven it up??? It's not an entertainment colum, young man...it's an informational column. It's been the same for all of the approximately 50 years that I've been reading it and I've learned more about Minnesota sports athletes, teams and coaches, etc in those years from his column than from any other source...by far. That's what the column is for....not for entertainment.....but for information...much of what you won't get anywhere else. If you want to be entertained go and read your comic books or have your mom ready you some nursery rhymes.

Good luck trying to get free agents to sign here, when right now no one knows who the head coach will be.

That's a surprise. He's been on top of all of the free agents over the last 12+ months like Rolston, Demitra, Gaborik, etc. I'm shocked that he did not see this coming.

What’s totally ironic here is that you have 3 guys who really have the most power to control the destiny of this team. All three are true standouts for their different professions. Two are exceptional and one is exceptionally inept. The two masters are leaving, but the horse’s ass is staying. Unbelievable.

...strangle DR. He is such an idiot! I just know he is going to pick the wrong guy to coach this team next year. I JUST KNOW IT!!! Mr Leopold..... PLEASE fire this clown before he screws up this team any further. I smell a Kevin McHale-like disaster right around the corner.

It's time to make a change, this just proves how lost this GM is....out of touch and no other GM wants to deal with him.
