I'm tired of hearing the same story from FSN. This article is almost an exact repeat of last year's where Dimond said FSN's goal is to have all the games in HD by the 2009 season. And how is it that HD games do not bring in more revenue? If that was the case, nothing would ever be broadcast in HD. I watch most of the games, regardless. But I make a an effort to catch any that are in HD. If you spend money on an HD system, you want to use it. And as far as these games being broadcast in HD, I'll believe it when I see it. Five times this year, Wolves games were supposed to be in HD and FSN failed to start the HD feed in time, a few times starting the HD coverage a quarter into the game (which oftentimes is too late to see any competitive action), and a couple of times never getting the feed up. When I called to see if the problem was with my cable receiver, I found out that FSN was having "technical difficulties." It's amateur hour over at the FSN conglomerate. Their production is awful, the on air talent is terrible (see hockey personality Kevin Gorg breaking down Wolves games as he admits to not knowing much about basketball), and they can't even find someone to get makeup on Gellner and comb LaPanta's hair. I'm tired of it. This is what happens when there's no competitive market.
