Small comforts: A retail concoction that mixes natural products and door-to-door sales along with mass merchandising is keeping Watkins Inc. vigorous and growing.

Watkins is trying to be a multilevel marketing company and a mass retailer, they can't be both. As a newbie in the retail mass merchandise market, they are selling product below MLM marketer wholesale not including shipping. This makes for an unstable MLM with slow growth. Especially when their sales reps go to the mass retailer to buy their product for resale and they do. Also, it is almost impossible to bring new sales reps on board, which is where the making money comes in. God love you people, I buy the products, I believe they are of great quality, but only an idiot would try to build a sales force and business foundation with products that an independent sales rep can't get for the same margins as a large retailer.

My wife raves about this brand. She compared it against a number of the supposed "all-natural" items out there like Nature's Gate and after looking at the ingredients watkins was way more natural. Since Berts Bees is now owned by Clorox, she wanted something that is not made by a giant chemical company. Personally I love the vanilla they make.

As an independent Watkins associate for the past several decades, I am more excited than ever. I appreciate that Watkins continues to break new ground and offer an unprecedented opportunity for personal financial success. No other direct selling or network marketing company has dared pursue this multi-channel approach and Watkins has done it in a way that helps my business grow. Amazingly, having some of the products in retail stores has made new associate recruiting easier! Our sponsoring rate has doubled since the program began. Keep on the cutting edge Watkins - I look forward to contributing towards the $500 million goal.

As a Watkins Associate for 25 years, I am amazed at the integrity and honesty of this company and it's owners. The retail initiative, when you look closely and really study it, is brilliant, for us and Watkins. Few, if any, other companies that utilize direct selling could pull this off. But Watkins is unique and always has been. The few products that are in retail locations we didn't even have 5 years ago. Customers search us out for the other 350 products. Every day, our business benefits from this brand awareness initiative. Go Watkins!!
