It is time to seat Al Franken in the U.S. Senate. He is clearly the victor in this election. Norm is just stalling, and preventing Minnesotans from being represented during this time of great national trouble. Time to give it up Norm!

Wasn't there a third guy who ran for the senate? Give him the seat until this other mess is fixed. Then MN would have 2 Senators in DC.

Just look at all the salary we are saving not having to pay either of these two clowns to embarrass us in the Senate.

It is the Republican National Committee that is providing the funding and will do everything it can to keep Franken from taking a Senate seat. The RNC will extend the litigation until the cows come home with appeals to the Minnesota Supreme Court (certainly a reasonable route) and the US Supreme Court (nothing but a waste of time). Best guess: Franken will not be seated in 2009.

Get ready for a long problem with this mess? If all ends and Franken prevails, Coleman will ry and carry it all the way to the supreme court? If he end result, changes in favor of Coleman, then the reverse will happen and we will go through the whole thing again, and in the meantime we only have one half of our representation in the senate? If only those gutless judges, call it, say enough is enough, let it stand where it is and get done with he whole process, by the time that they get done rejecting, accepting, rejecting again who knows what is happening to those ballots, and how much trust anyone can place in anything that they do? Bob

pretty obvious that the point here is to maintain the Republican seats by any means necessary. This is all they've got right now.
