There is an inventor from Wisconsin who invented an all-electric car in the form of a Ford Ranger that was shown at the KARE 11 fair booth at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair. It is capable of reaching 100 miles per hour in speed, has a range of 300 miles, charges in 10 minutes and is pollution free with only the pollution that is done to make the electricity to charge it. The inventor of this invention has, to my understanding, approached Ford Motor Company with his invention. The Ford Motor Company, in my estimation, should latch onto this idea, pronto. My understanding is there are members of Congress who are trying to shoot down this idea of an electric car. Where is there any common sense in this country?

Wow, I'm just glad with the extra $65 a month I can pay my cable bill. Uff da, I feel rich! I like the electric car idea but anything that has some sense will never work because it may actually help.

let's all hang on. If we can just make it to April 1, we'll have $13 more each week. That will solve our problems. Thank the lord almighty for Oblama.

Why would someone who doesn't pay taxes get any money back through a tax credit? I don't understand. Doesn't this sound like socialism?

Shouldn't people who pay more in get more back? Let's apply this to everything: if I make less money than you, I should pay less for a gallon of gas than you; I should pay less for a house than you; I should pay less for everything than you. It doesn't make sense, and it is the product of the extreme class warfare in this country.

Obama just announced he will let the bush tax cuts expire. For those of us who actually earn an income that means a large tax increase. His plan also will increase taxes on the wealthy to pay down the newly acquired highest budget deficit ever. There goes new job creation, business expansion and hedges against inflation. If you are the beneficiary of Obamas redistribution of wealth plan (earned income credit etc.) you should like this plan as it takes money from those who work and provides you an income stream. The second point is that your highly advertised tax cut just evaporated, one government hand gives while the other takes it away.

Who doesn't pay taxes? Everyone pays taxes, either directly or indirectly. What this "doesn't pay taxes" nonsense is about is simply political spin by conservative republicans who don't like the fact that Obama cut taxes for lower and middle income people. About 40% of the stimulus package is TAX CUTS. You would think the "no new taxes" people would be happy about that, but that would mean admitting that Obama did something they like. Instead they repeat the big LIE that the tax cuts go to people that "don't pay taxes".

Actually, Obama has been against that all along. McCain was opposed to the Bush tax cuts too, and voted against them, before he flip-flopped to get the Republican party nomination by promising to be Bush's 3rd term. Obama just cut taxes in the stimulus package for lower and middle income people. Republicans hate lower and middle income people keeping more of their money because they want all the tax cuts to go to the wealthy, so they've come up with this big LIE that lower and middle income people "don't pay taxes" and that cutting their taxes is "redistribution of wealth".

Dont worry, BO and his "cronies" are hard at work studying the voting records and census reports to get those rich GOP districts properly taxed and those poor DFL districts properly refunded. Now that the libs have for the first time successfully regulated not only the bottom of the pay scale, but also the very top, a good and fair redistribution of wealth is just around the corner.

Their Share?? "People who do not earn enough money to owe income taxes can file for their share." In Common Sense times, those who didn't earn it, didn't get rewarded. But now that the community organizer is taxing our grandchildren, its ok....
