...around a "free" ticket that you know was a mistake -- you should get your head examined. Whatsa matter? No more home equity to tap for your vacations? Typically consumer - try to capitalize on an honest mistake by a business.

You charge us for bags, pillows, blankets, a bag of 12 pretzels, etc! You've sent 10000+ jobs to India and wow one of those outsourced employees made a programming error. Let's bring those jobs back to the USA and maybe this won't happen again! You need to honor the tickets in good faith. Hey, atleast you would be helping the economy (hotels, car rentals, restaurants and tourist attractions).

Has nobody heard of the adage "If it sounds too good to be true, it must be"? Not to mention the business ethic: a good deal is one where both parties benefit. People thought a $0 fare was real? REALLY?!?!

Don't these clowns have any type of quality control before they put this stuff out for consumers?

This could be a promotion of some kind or anything else. You can't offer a price, and then refuse to honor it. You would think that they would have the appropriate checks in their systems to insure that this wouldn't place. Hey, I'll write the code: IF fare_price <= 0 then void(); I think I'll use this as a "False" promotion on my website. I'll offer free stuff and then say "OH, jeez, my bad....sorry....."

They now have to cancel their free hotel rooms and rental cars. Think of the businesses in Phoenix that will be missing out on the money they wouldn't have spent.

There is that little law that says truth in advertisement that all retail has to follow

So a woman that worked for an airline (regardless of which carrier) really thinks that another airline should honor the free tickets? Does she know how people that work for an airline get paid? Umm...that's right...people paying to fly! Really? She didn't get that you don't get something for nothing? What about when the carrier goes broke and she can't fly them anyhow? Then what? Mistakes happen...of course on here it get's rediculed because if it's about NWA, it's the end of the world.
