I know a bit about this company -- I did their advertising for over 25 years (til I retired). Their MO is an object lesson for small businesses: 1. Stable staff with minimal turnover 2. Above assures good customer service and knowlegable sales people 3. Ethical operations -- will do anything needed to assure customer satisfaction. 4. History of profits and strong managment keeps banks happy and opens needed lines of credit. 5. Generational changes keep new ideas current on leading edge. Nothing profound -- just solid common sense ways to run a small business

They may want to think about selling the business before it's too late.

I wasn't bashing their website. Are you missing something here? I was just going off my past experiences with Michael's Lamps. For those of us in the WEST, St. Paul isn't really tops on our list. I was simply saying "good story, but here's someone they didn't mention". Plus Michael's Lamps advertises in the paper...and deserve some love too! Though I will argue, small businesses trying to lure e-commerce clients lose their personal relationships...which sucks

Personal relationships missing... ok, so pick up the phone and call them about the website issue. Spouting off on this forum is not the place to get your gripe resolved.

This is an informative article as it tells the hardwork done to make this website. So we simply learn that only hardwork is not required but the smartwork also. ---------------------- Home Lighting
