Excuse me? Where is my bailout payment? I am Polaroid company. I make instant photos that everyone loves and needs and requires to make thier lives whole. I require 500 million dollars to compensate for the downturn in the economy. If I receive the bailout I will continue to produce my instant photo technology that everyone needs to make their lives better. Please accelerate the bailout payment Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi. Dr. Obama please sign into law the official bailout so that I can stay in business. Thank you. Polaroid shareholders.

Where do you figure it's a bailout? Can't you read? It's an auction of Polaroid to the highest bidder. And Polaroid isn't a public company. There are no shareholders. Go listen to Rush some more.

Try being less cynical. You'll feel happier.

Just because a company is "private" does not mean there are not shareholders. It only means any shares are not traded on the public markets.

It wasn't really $150 million of his OWN money, was it?

On October 7th Doug Kelly stated that "Mary Jeffries works for Poloroid and her bonus of $1 million was well deserved." Hey Doug can I come work for your company? Since when does losing $107 Million dollars in a year constitute a job well done and deserve a $1 million dollar bonus. Wasn't Mary Jeffries Petters former controller for all the Petters companies. I wonder what she knows....

Mary Jefferies, David Baur......They claim they didn't know this was a fraud. The kind of bonuses doled our? That Petters building should be turned into one big jail house. The amount and severity of the lives they destroyed is more than tragic. It's inhuman.

Hello from Boston and a long time senior former Polaroid (the real Polaroid) exec! Something that has slipped everyone's attention is that the people the orchestrated the sale of Polaroid to Petters using Petters' and bob white's 'alleged' stolen assets are the same people orchestrating this latest deal. . This is the 3rd manipulation of these assets by the same cast of characters: first under BankONE, then under Petters, and now Genii. Now these same folks are working with another ZINK investor to buy what was the top imaging brand in the world for less than $50M. All of us retirees and former employees saw complete destruction of 20,30,40 years of work and savings in pensions and stock plans and to see the again, well it's like watching your sister get gang raped again and again. Somebody ought to look into the ZINK/Polaroid/Petters connection...this proposed stalking horse (and we've seen this phrase at Polaroid, too...) smells like the horse stables...a lot of crap while everyone's attention is focused on the recession...somebody is trying to sneak something fishy past all of our noses....Star Tribune: Follow the money: who are the people at ZINK, Polaroid, Genii? How much money did Tom Petters and Bob White invest in ZINK? what is the link? This is something that you could look into...follow the money....
