While I don't feel sorry for Petters, I will say that a fool and his money are soon parted. If something sounds too good to be true...it probably is.

Yes Dean, the public kisses and warm embraces and gifts galore, the gifted cars all ring hollow - when their is no cash for you or fame. Perhaps that is why yo don't understand friendship. friendship goes way beyond that. Now you can kiss your warm embraces good by. Cheap and shallow! Good riddance.

Dean, while being a little "showy" - is a hard worker, and in the restaurant business, you have to treat all customers like they re your friends and you are glad to see them when they come into your place of business. That is how successful independent chains operate. Don't begrudge the guy because of his success, he earned his money the old fashion way.....he worked for it.....

Nice decision to hand out a 6 million third mortgage. That worked out nicely for you.

If it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Vlahos "invested" with Petters exspecting more than is reasonable and guess what? It was too good to be true. You lose, that's America.

Michelle had quite a divorce when she was a Redman and got that big settlement. The case took quite a while to settle, given the size of the assets. Her attorney, M. Sue Wilson really was the winner of that one with the majority of the money gained on her fees. Now she is divorcing Vlahos. I wonder how long this case will take to settle now that their are less assets. I bet it will settle quite a bit faster now that the attorneys have little to gain. I heard Petter's attorneys have already billed over a million for his defense. In the end guess who the winners will be????
