If he was a risk to flee before then he is still a risk to flee. The sense of self entitlement shown here only reinforces the need to lock him up. And throw his friends in there too.

Of course Petters has a pickle jar buried somewhere with a Groucho mustache and enough cash to go very far away. And what's with Catain? Embezzling from your own company is now "inappropriate"? And you only go to jail for it if it violates the terms of your release for other stealing? Those burdensome terms being, "don't break any more laws for the time being"? Wow. These guys are sociopaths.

hearing these ridiculous requests and his lawyers should be barred from padding their bill by making them. It would mean more money for the people he stole from and that his lawyers are now trying to steal from his "assets". A "drunken sailor" can figure out why Petters wants out so bad.
